1、 Basic construction conditions

1. Have the professional technical team of paving elastic floor.

2. Have the conventional tools and some special tools for paving PVC plastic floor.

3. Independent construction environment to avoid cross construction.

4. The ambient temperature should be 6-35oc and the relative humidity should be 20-75%.

5. There should be water and electricity interfaces and necessary lighting facilities on site.

6. Be familiar with the floor construction drawing carefully, review the floor construction drawing, clarify the construction content, and analyze the engineering characteristics.

2、 Floor detection

1. The temperature and humidity meter should be used to detect the humidity. The indoor temperature and surface temperature should be 15 ℃, and the construction should not be carried out below 5 ℃ or above 30 ℃. The relative air humidity suitable for construction should be between 20% - 75%.

2. The moisture content of the base course should be less than 3% by using the moisture content tester.

3. The strength of base course should not be lower than the requirement of concrete strength C-20, otherwise, suitable self leveling should be used to strengthen the strength.

4. The result of hardness tester should be that the surface hardness of base course is not less than 1.2 MPa.

5. The unevenness of the base course shall be within the range of 2m ruler, the height difference shall be less than 2mm, and the flatness error shall be less than 4.0 mm, otherwise, suitable self leveling shall be adopted for local re leveling.

6. The base ground should be dry, not too rough, no sand, cracking, hollowing and other serious quality defects.

3、 Self leveling construction

Before the construction of self leveling, the floor grinding machine with more than 1000 watts and appropriate grinding plate shall be used to grind the floor as a whole to remove paint, glue and other residues. The raised and loose plots and the hollowed plots shall also be removed. Use an industrial vacuum cleaner of less than 2000 Watts to clean the floor. For the cracks on the floor, stainless steel reinforcing ribs and polyurethane waterproof adhesive surface paved with quartz sand can be used to repair.

(1) Self leveling construction

1. For absorbent base course, such as concrete and cement sand pump, the leveling layer shall be sealed and bottomed with multi-purpose interface treatment agent diluted with water at the ratio of 1:1( Or add water according to the requirements of each brand product, please refer to the primer instruction manual).

2. For non absorbent base, such as ceramic tile, terrazzo and marble, it is recommended to use dense interface treatment agent for priming.

3. If the moisture content of the base course is too high (> 3%) and the construction needs to be carried out immediately, the epoxy interface treatment agent can be used for priming treatment, but the premise is that the moisture content of the base course should not be greater than 8%.

4. The construction of interface treatment agent should be uniform without obvious effusion. After the surface of the interface treatment agent is dried, the next step of self leveling construction can be carried out.

5. The primer can be mixed with water in the ratio of 1:1 (or according to the requirements of various brands of products, please refer to the primer instruction). There is no need to add water to marble and water ground, and the primer should be painted evenly without omission. After 1-2 hours of painting, self leveling construction can be done after air drying, do not wait too long.

(2) Self leveling construction mixing

1. Pour a bag of self leveling into the mixing bucket with clean water according to the specified water cement ratio. Generally, a bag of self leveling is mixed with about 6kg water. Pour and stir.

2. In order to ensure uniform self leveling mixing, it is necessary to use a high-power, low speed electric drill with a special mixer for mixing.

3. Stir to a uniform slurry without caking, let it stand for about 3 minutes, and then stir once more.

4. The amount of water added should be strictly in accordance with the water cement ratio (please refer to the corresponding self leveling instructions). Too little water will affect the fluidity, too much will reduce the strength after curing.

(3) Self leveling construction -- laying

1. Pour the mixed self leveling slurry on the construction floor, it will flow and level the ground by itself. If the design thickness is less than or equal to 4 mm, it needs to be scraped with the help of special tooth scraper.

2. Then, the construction personnel shall put on special spikes and enter the construction ground, and use special self leveling air release roller to roll gently on the self leveling surface to release the air mixed in the mixing, so as to avoid bubble pockmarked surface and interface height difference.

3. After the completion of construction, please close the site immediately, forbid walking within 5 hours, avoid heavy impact within 10 hours, and lay the floor after 24 hours.

4. In winter construction, the floor should be laid 48 hours after the self leveling construction.

5. If it is necessary to finish grinding and polishing the self leveling, it should be carried out 12 hours after the self leveling construction.

4、 Floor paving

(1) Pre laying and cutting

1. Whether it is coil or block, it should be placed on the site for more than 24 hours to make the material memory reduction and the temperature consistent with the construction site. Discharge in the same direction at the same time. Materials shall be constructed according to the same number to avoid color difference.

2. Use a special trimming device to cut and clean the rough edge of the coil.

3. When laying coiled materials, overlapping cutting should be adopted at the lap joint of two pieces of materials, which is generally required to overlap 3 cm. Pay attention to keep a knife cut.

(2) Floor paving paste

1. Select the appropriate glue and scraping board suitable for PVC floor.

2. When the coil is glued, one end of the coil is folded. First clean the floor and the back of the coil, and then scrape the glue on the floor.

3. Different adhesive requirements in the construction will be different, please refer to the corresponding product specification for construction. In general, 10-20 minutes or when the hand glue feel not stick to the hand. General use of special concave convex scraper, the floor adhesive evenly coated on the floor surface, about 10 minutes later flat shop on the ground, exhaust, rolling.

N after the floor is pasted, the surface of the floor is pressed with a softwood block for leveling and air extrusion.

Then roll the floor evenly with a 50 or 75 kg steel roller and trim the edge warping at the joint in time.

N the excess glue on the floor surface should be wiped off in time.

N after the glue solidifies, generally the next day, notch and weld again.

(3) Slotting of floor pavement

There are two welding methods: cold welding and hot welding. Cold welding is directly pasted with cold welding fluid; Hot welding is to use special slotting machine to slot, weld gun and welding rod to weld coil seam, and then use special bending tool to trim and level after the welding interface is cooled.

1. Slotting must be carried out after the glue is completely cured. The special groover is used to slot along the joint. In order to make the welding firm, the slotting should not go through the bottom. It is suggested that the slotting depth should be 2 / 3 of the floor thickness.

2. In the end part where the slitter cannot operate, please use the manual slitter to slit with the same depth and width.

3. Before sewing, the residual dust and debris in the groove must be removed.

5、 Maintenance of PVC floor

(1) Purpose of cleaning and maintenance

1. Improve appearance: timely remove the dirt produced in daily use, make the elastic floor fully show its extraordinary appearance and natural gloss.

2. Protect the floor: protect the elastic floor from the erosion of accidental chemicals, cigarette end marks, shoe prints, oil and water, minimize the mechanical wear on the surface, give full play to the durability of the floor itself, so as to extend the service life of the floor.

3. Convenient care: due to the compact surface structure and special treatment of the elastic floor, pay attention to the daily cleaning and maintenance, which can make the floor easier to care and prolong the service life.

(2) Nursing precautions

1. All kinds of dirt on the ground should be removed in time.

2. It is absolutely forbidden to immerse the floor in open water. Although some floors use waterproof glue to cut off the water source (such as floor drain, water room, etc.), long time immersion in water will seriously affect the service life of the floor. In the process of cleaning, the sewage shall be sucked up by the water absorption machine in time.

3. For places with more people and wear, the maintenance period should be shortened and the times of high strength surface wax should be increased.

4. It is absolutely forbidden to use hard and rough cleaning tools (such as steel ball, cleaning cloth, etc.) to prevent sharp objects from colliding with elastic floor.

5. It is strongly recommended to place foot pads at the entrance of public places with high flow of people, so as to prevent dirt and sand particles from damaging the floor materials.

(3) Maintenance methods at different stages:

1) Floor cleaning and maintenance after laying / before use

1. Remove the dust and sundries on the floor surface first.

2. Clean the floor with 3M red abrasive or similar products at low speed (diluted with 1:20 strong general cleaner mixed with water and then added into the floor cleaner), remove the protective wax, grease, dust and other dirt on the floor surface, and suck up the sewage with a water absorption machine.

3. Wash with clean water and suck dry.

4. Apply 1-2 layers of high strength surface wax as required.

2) Daily cleaning and maintenance

1. Push or vacuum( Put the dust pulling agent on the floor and push the dust after drying.)

2. Wet tow( Dilute 1:20 with water and mop the floor with a semi wet mop.) If necessary, it can also be cleaned at a low speed with a scrubbing machine and wash & shine.

3) Regular cleaning and maintenance

1. Push or vacuum.

2. The floor cleaning and polishing agent is diluted with 1:20 water, and then mopped or polished with high-speed polishing machine and red grinding plate.

3. 1-2 layers of high strength surface wax.

4. If necessary, it can be polished with high speed polishing machine and white polishing pad.

4) Completely renovated

1. Push or vacuum.

2. After diluted with 1 ∶ 10 strong dewaxing water, evenly spread it on the ground, wait for 5-10 minutes, clean and dewaxing at low speed with a rubbing machine and red grinding plate. Timely use the water suction machine to suck up the sewage.

3. Wash with clean water and suck dry until no residual detergent is left on the floor.

4. Apply 1-2 layers of high strength surface wax as required.

5) Treatment of special dirt

1. Oil pollution: local oil pollution, the original liquid of water-based degreaser is directly poured on the towel to wipe; In case of large area of oil pollution, dilute the water-based degreaser with the ratio of 1:10, and then clean it at low speed with a rubbing machine and red grinding plate.

2. Black offset printing: spray cleaning wax with high-speed polishing machine and white polishing pad. For a long time of black offset, you can pour the strong black offset remover directly on the towel to wipe.

3. Gum or chewing gum: use professional strong degumming agent to wipe directly on the towel.
